Sunday is always family day...

when i was younger, we were not allowed to go out on Sunday...

as we grow, it has became a habit that Sunday should always keep for family...

it was Sunday that left only baby sis and i at home...

we were cracking our head to think what to have for dinner...

finally, we decided to give this "new" restaurant a try...

White House Kitchen

an American restaurant located at a quieter area of Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara...

it looks very colourful from the outside...

can hardly miss it if pass by...

walked into the restaurant, we saw there was a "reserved" tag on every table...

a friendly staff came to us and got us a seat...

 a simple printed menu with comb binding...

basic table setting was done before any arrivals of customer...

as soon as we placed our orders, i took a few pictures of the restaurant's surrounding...

the whole wall was nicely decorated with posters, photos, t-shirts, caps etc...

Blackcurrant Soda  RM 6.90

it was really refreshing~

Belly Warmer  RM 9.90

soup of the day to kick start our dinner...

cream of broccoli with slice of garlic bread...

creamy, thick and with strong fragrance of broccoli...

favourite!!

Von Ryan's BBQ Beef Rib  RM 39.90

beef rib braised in herbs and grilled to perfection with their homemade BBQ sauce...

served with potatoes and vegetables... 

baby sis was craving for beef rib...

she was hesitating whether to try or not...

and glad that she tried because it definitely worth trying...

so tender, juicy and tasty!! =D

Salmon in Lemon  RM 25.90

 grilled salmon bedded on boiled spinach...

served with butter sauce, grilled potatoes and carrots...

this grilled salmon was so good...

it remained the juiciness and was really fresh...

i wiped everything clean, included all the sides... yummy!

we were really satisfied with our dinner...

as soon as we finished eating, the friendly staff approached us again...

checking with us whether we want any desserts...

we were really too full to order any desserts 

but the friendly staff insisted to give us a complimentary one...

Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream (complimentary)

 the chocolate brownie was good...

but the ice cream was not what we prefer...

however, we still appreciate the kindness given to us...

i had a quick chat with the friendly staff who has been serving us...

White House Kitchen was previously the Kennedy's...

the owner of Kennedy's passed away and the family didn't want to take over...

hence, the owner of White House Kitchen took over...

did some minor constructions, remained all the floor & kitchen staff and continue the business...

i thank the owner for remaining a great restaurant for us to enjoy good food...

it was definitely a great dining experience...

and i'm sure we will surely return for more good food~ =)
