oh~ TGIF and tomorrow is holiday! =D

so, what am i doing on this holiday eve sitting in front of my old laptop and hitting the keyboard...

well~ i'm just too old to party... =P

haha~ okay... enough of all the bullshitting...

the well known steak house Jake's charbroil steak has a new 'baby'...

 this newly opened restaurant was hiding behind of the busy hawker stalls~

in fact it's facing the main road, but why i said behind is because i walking from another end towards it...

quiet, not crowded and cozy...

Croisette Cafe, Bangsar

have been really moody lately~ everything in life is going haywire...

work, friendship and something that only for me to know~

it's kinda difficult to maintain cool and professional when it involved too much of emotions...

things that i treasure so much, it just doesn't go according the plan...

when it went beyond my control, my emotion started to go beyond too...

enough of being moody and negative, i should start fresh again tomorrow~

hopefully those happy moments my camera captured could remind me on some positiveness...

it was our first gathering of the year~

as usual, Bangsar is the area we would arrange for gathering...

San suggested this little cafe which selling French cuisine...

Croisette Cafe

 located by the poolside in one of the condominiums in Bangsar...

small but nicely set up... cosy and beautifully decorated...

as it was our first visit, we didn't know what to order...

the lady owner, Michelle is a very nice person... 

she recommended all the signature dishes for us to share~ 

she knows the menu by heart, of course~ she is the wife of the chef... =)

 mini pizza i would say~ only the base was not like normal pizza, this was very much nicer...

The Hill, Damansara Heights

i work in Damansara Heights area and i didn't know that i've never blogged about any restaurant in this area until i wanted to blog about The Hill~ 

ya~ it's really rare for me to hang around this area, maybe i should start exploring the area... =D

heard about The Hill many many times and all i know about it was they served very nicely presented cocktails at a very reasonable price... 

it was an after work Thursday night... dated her for dinner as we have not catch up with each other quite a long time~ i mean, privately...

"just go around your area there, is on my way home too..." she said~

that's how we chose, or i should say i chose The Hill...

upon my arrival, i saw the restaurant was located up hill... i suppose that's the reason why the owner named the restaurant as "The Hill"~

from the outside, i can already see the very nice ambiance...

as i walked up to the restaurant, i was greeted by a few friendly waiters and waitresses...

they asked me where would i like to sit...

looking at the environment, first floor will be really good for photo taking but i can foresee the later part when all the tables are taken it will be really noisy...

so, i asked for a quieter area and they leaded me to the second floor~

second floor was really quiet and with dimmed lights...

chose my table, sat down and wait for my lady...

 as soon as she arrived, we made our orders and because we have ordered quite a number of food, we requested to shift to a bigger table...

Bonjour Garden Bakery Cafe, Kota Damansara

staying in Kota Damansara is a blessing...

it's such a lovely area to stay in... not only i can get everything there, even if i wanted to do shopping in shopping mall, 1 Utama, The Curve, Ikano and Ikea are just around the corner...

how not to love this area?

not only that, i can also get nice places to dine around this area...

Bonjour Garden is one of the hidden gem in KD...

why do i called it as a hidden gem? because it's really hidden inside the building...

it wasn't a new place anymore when i first visited them...

everytime i pass by, i thought it was just a normal bakery, until i read about it from a blog...

walked into the cafe, i was impressed by the very nice interior~

印尼：Day4 - Medan 一日游

旅程结束的前一个晚上，发生一些小插曲，让整个原本完美的旅程添了些不完美~
酒店不如预期的好，wifi 不能用，房间有异味，附近没有餐馆... 种种的问题让我不自觉地心情烦躁！不过，也幸好酒店员工还蛮友善的，问题也总算解决了...
登机前，我们 book 了 Mr Sam 带我们在棉兰 (Medan) 一日游~ 虽然价钱没有相当便宜，但比起我们必须自己去摸索路线，IDR 400,000 太值得了！
在酒店吃过早餐，Mr Sam 准时出现在 lobby 等着要带我们到处窜...
第一站，我们去了那里的 Grand Mosque... 据说那是为了当时居住在棉兰的印尼国王而盖的清真寺... 看到它的时候，我的感觉是：真的很 grand...

很宏伟的建筑物，没有华丽和夸张的外表，简单却庄严... 让人很平静~

因为我身穿短裤，所以必须围上沙龙 (salung) 以表示尊敬...

没有围过沙龙的我们都不知道该怎么弄，唯有劳烦那里的负责人了~

on 8 March 2013 marked our 6th anniversary...

time flies, we've been in love for 6 years plus~ 

i can still remember the day when i first knew he had a crush with me... 

at one point i thought he set it up with our close friends, then only he told me actually not...

that was 6 years ago~

this year, we celebrated our anniversary with a simple dinner at Terrace Arms...

但我却无缘出席了~ 有工作在同一天... =/

印尼：Day3 - 和 Lake Toba 说再见

正所谓“快活不知时日过”... 很快的，我们三天两夜的旅程已经接近尾声，要和多巴湖说拜拜了~ 真的是千万个不情愿啊！

那天，原本想说在离开以前看一看多巴湖的日出，因为经理 Mr Bloom 说前一天的日出很棒，但我们错过了！在凌晨4点多爬起身，想说一睹多巴湖迷人的日出，结果还是缘悭一面，看到的只是密布的云层，还有狂风巨浪... 也许老天爷是想要留给我们一个回到多巴湖去的理由吧~ 

既然看不成日出，唯有回到被窝里... 再次张开眼睛的时候，太阳公公已经高高地挂在天上了... 拿着相机，随意的拍了几张周遭的景色~

白色小花

好喜欢这些白色小花... 在旅馆周围都随处可见~ 它们就像我们，日出而作，日落而息... 白天的时候，会因为阳光的照射而开花；日落后，花蕾就会收起，像是在休息一样... 

早上的多巴湖

早上的多巴湖，云层散开了，浪变弱了... 湖面比起凌晨的时候平静了许多~

印尼：Lake Toba 美食 - Jenny's Restaurant, Samosir Island

在出发到多巴湖之前，上网搜寻资料是必然的... 在一个博客的游记就看到她分享说在 Samosir Cottage 附近有一家烧鱼很不错，而且价钱也很公道~ 抵达的时候，我就一直嚷着说要去那里吃晚餐... 结果因为第一个晚上天公不作美，行程被 postponed 到第二天晚上~

其实在看到招牌的时候，我就很想对妈妈大喊说：咪，我在 Lake Toba 找到你的店！

 很巧的，我妈名字也叫“Jenny”... 所以我对它有种特别亲切的感觉~

小小的招牌，来回经过好几次我都没有找到它... 直到在环岛的回程，我看见了它！

很有大自然 feel 的一家餐厅... 我尤其喜欢那隐藏在树丛里的... er... 应该可以算是招牌吧！只是我没发现原来他们还有 suckling pig 啊！太专注于他们的烧鱼了吧！没关系，下次吧~

YUZU 柚, The Gardens

it was almost half a year ago... 

the day where we celebrated his birthday and Boxing Day~

he wanted to have Japanese food and we wanted somewhere not too far away...

that's how we decided to give a try at YUZU in The Gardens...
