Sunday is always family day...

when i was younger, we were not allowed to go out on Sunday...

as we grow, it has became a habit that Sunday should always keep for family...

it was Sunday that left only baby sis and i at home...

we were cracking our head to think what to have for dinner...

finally, we decided to give this "new" restaurant a try...

White House Kitchen

an American restaurant located at a quieter area of Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara...

it looks very colourful from the outside...

can hardly miss it if pass by...

Nutmeg, Bangsar Village II

Bangsar is always the hot spot for us to have our gathering...

coincidently the other day read about this restaurant...

attracted by their 3D coffee art, hence i suggested to have the celebration there~

featured in Malay Mail, that's how i know about them...

WATAMI Japanese Casual Restaurant, 1 Utama

WATAMI is always our choice when we are craving for casual Japanese food...

except their ala-carte menu, their set menu are always good...

few months back, we had a super great deal for lunch...

though not sure whether still serving the same set deal~

but i think this deal is worth mentioning...

stated on the menu, the set was for sharing of 2...

- Casual Set at RM 90.00 -

which included a starter, 2 mains and 3 side dishes...

Ceasar Salad

 it stated half portion of ceasar salad...

looking at the big bowl, i couldn't imagine how big it will be if is a full portion...

not a great ceasar salad, but what to expect from a Japanese restaurant for western food?

Sukiyaki

 sukiyaki always my favourite~

Saffron Indian Restaurant, Sri Hartamas

Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisines are the most common food that i take almost everyday...

however, i have never write about any Indian restaurant before~

too common until i forgot about some of them too worth sharing maybe...

Saffron Indian Restaurant is one of them...

located in Sri Hartamas, like a hidden gem in the area...

i wouldn't know there is Indian restaurant if is not recommended...

just like now, i can't stop thinking about what i had in Saffron that afternoon...

it was a meeting lunch and i would say the most enjoyable meeting lunch...

Mango Lassi  RM 4.50

 made from fresh mango with their special recipe...

so thick and milky but not too sweet~

fragrance of mango lingers in my mouth...

best mango lassi ever...

Daimon Yokocho 大门横丁, Alam Damai, Cheras

Merry Christmas world~

the last festive of the year and we are about to say goodbye to 2013...

2013 has been really good, though towards the end went a bit haywire...

but i believe everything happened for a reason~

i might not see it today, but one day i will know eventually...

and i'm sure God is blessing me... =)

  no major celebration this year...

only had my favourite udon as simple lunch with bei after a painful treatment...

since we went all the way to Cheras for treatment...

we tried our luck at Daimon Yokocho if we could get the best seller udon...

i only had it once on our first visit and this time again, disappointed...

so, we went on with other recipes of udon...

Tonkotsu Braised Pork Udon 九洲叉烧乌冬  RM 24.90

 this non spicy savoury broth udon was really good...

Happy Christmas Eve~

2013 marked the most unforgettable Christmas that i ever had...

since can't go anywhere, might as well clear all my food photos...

Photo Crafts 'The Cafe' has became one of the favourite spot for me to hang around...

not only because it's an unique cafe with good food and good coffee...

more so because we have became friends after several visits...

i've shared quite a bit on how the cafe looks like in my previous post...

this time, i'm going to focus on food they served... =)

Iced Lemon Yakult  RM 6.90

 highly recommended!!

refreshing and good at all time...

Yakult is always too sweet to me~

blended with lemon juice has balanced the sweetness well...

Hot Chocolate  RM 6.90

 from the picture already can see how chocolaty the hot chocolate was...

it was really a good cup of chocolate...

Gangnam 88, Sunway Giza

ever since the K-Pop fever hit Malaysia...

everything from Korea seems to be the "in-thing"...

the song Gangnam Style was so famous even a kid knows how to sing and dance...

what would be better to name a restaurant after the "Gangnam"?

a Korean BBQ restaurant located in Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara...

they started in Mont Kiara and this Giza outlet is the second one...

MyElephant Thai Restaurant, Sri Hartamas

what would be better than a meeting over great lunch?

one of the benefits i got from working with RCS is always get to have good food...

MyElephant is located in Sri Hartamas...

to make sure you can get a seat, be there by 12pm...

they have unbelievable lunch crowd~

we were lucky on our first visit and not so lucky on the second time...

walked towards the entrance, they have a lovely signage stated -

"no wifi, talk to each other"

seriously, we should really practice that more... =D

as soon as we seated, menu was given...

as usual, my boss will make the order and all i need to do is sit back and eat...

we have several of side dishes but i only managed to take the starter and the desserts...

Mieng Kum  RM 18.00

 my first try on this Thai starter...

looking at the ingredient on the plate, i tried my first bite very reluctantly...

Coffee Societe, Solaris Dutamas

Solaris Dutamas and Publika have really became a hot spot in town...

if you are up to food hunting and bored with the crowded shopping mall on weekend...

these areas will be the perfect place to go~

i've been to these places many times and i'm really loving the very artistic environment...

though i still always lost my way in these malls...

but i think i'm getting very much better...

at least i can easily find my favourite cafe in Solaris Dutamas...

Coffee Societe

 a simple cafe, well-known with it's good coffee...

Coffee Societe do not have a big shop lot...

the cafe was not really big, but was nicely organized...

full house

 though the tables and chairs are all very close to each other...

but somewhat it doesn't make me feel uncomfortable...

and a full house is a norm for weekend...

my kind of Sunday no other than hanging around in a nice cosy cafe...

with either a camera or a book, or both together...

have a cup of good coffee and enjoy every moment in the cafe...

coffee, tea or me?

 nowadays, to find a good cafe is really easier than getting a taxi...

everyday i read about new cafes opening in every corner of the town...

just not long ago, i read about this newly opened cafe...

attracted by the limited photos, i googled this cafe...

i can only found another blog entry of it, it was an online photo album...

a very attractive cafe it seems...

and the best part was it's so close to where i live...

El Sid's Bar, Medan Damansara

Sid's Pub is a very famous pub in town...

they've been growing big and has already 4 outlets around KL and PJ...

lately, they have opened a new outlet in Medan Damansara...

but they named the outlet differently and this outlet was in a different concept...

located at the corner lot, same row with Victoria Station and Jake's...

El Sid's Bar has a very eye-catchy signboard...

looking into the bar, it was breezy and splashed with colourful colours that made the bar attractive...

walked into the bar, we were greeted by friendly staff...

menu was given as soon as we were seated...

very good first impression i have had with El Sid's Bar...

we were there for a purpose...

to try their Margarita on tap...

friend of ours been telling us about how amazing the Margarita can be on tap...

 the Frozen Margarita was good...

but the tap was totally different with what we imagined...

they have various Margarita on the menu...

but the Original Frozen Margarita was the only one on tap...

嗨~ 十二月，你好啊！你来得那么快，都让我有点措手不及了...

只能默默地希望仅剩的廿日会是美好的...

感性的话，我就不多说了~

免得又有人很变态的在我面前大声地念出来... （对啦！就是你！）

破天荒地在拿到照片的第二天便 post了~ 也是因为有人一直念一直念的！

不过，还是得谢谢他昨天陪了我一个下午，听我唠唠叨叨的，还请我吃午餐喝咖啡...

所以，这算是谢恩啦！（不欠你了哦~） =P

一直对TLR相机情有独钟...

从认识TLR以来，就一直有打算存笔钱，想说哪天我也可以拥有一台...

要知道啊~ 古董相机可不便宜啊！

后来后来，感谢老天爷的眷顾，朋友的帮助...

我用一半的价钱把 Yashica MAT-124 带回家了...

老板还很好人的送了我一卷 120mm 的胶卷~

说到那卷 Shanghai GP3 100 Pan Film 我可糗了！

竟然完全不知道它是黑白胶卷，在把胶卷送去develop 的时候还以为人家服务小姐搞错了！

我的妈呀~ 我精明的形象毁于一旦啊...

(喂你！别笑那么大声！小心笑歪了你的下巴！）

发现自己搞错了以后就一直担心照片出来效果会不佳...

毕竟在拍的时候都选了颜色对比强烈的景...

幸好照片效果都还算可以~ 12张，有8张是见得人的！

超过一半，TLR 处女作，算不错吧！ ^^
