WATAMI is always our choice when we are craving for casual Japanese food...
except their ala-carte menu, their set menu are always good...
few months back, we had a super great deal for lunch...
though not sure whether still serving the same set deal~
but i think this deal is worth mentioning...
stated on the menu, the set was for sharing of 2...
- Casual Set at RM 90.00 -
which included a starter, 2 mains and 3 side dishes...

| Ceasar Salad |
it stated half portion of ceasar salad...
looking at the big bowl, i couldn't imagine how big it will be if is a full portion...
not a great ceasar salad, but what to expect from a Japanese restaurant for western food?

sukiyaki always my favourite~
Watami's version of sukiyaki was really good...
it didn't turn out to be overly salty towards the end...
and everything cooked so well in the pot...

| Watami Tonkotsu Ramen |
the ramen broth was really tasty...
but the noodle was not up to standard...
well~ i suppose ramen is not their signature...

| Tofu Meat Miso |
i love this tofu meat miso so so so much~
the tofu was so smooth and soft...
topped with braised minced meat and showered with miso soup...
the flavour of the meat and the miso soup nicely balanced the bland tofu...

| Saba Hiraki |
this half portion of saba was grilled to perfection...
i love saba so much~
this saba was so fresh, even without the lemon was not fishy at all...

| Negitoro Maki |
nothing to shout about this maki...
nicely rolled with fresh negitoro...
i was too full to eat more than one piece...
two of us finished all the above six items...
seriously, for RM 90.00, it was really worth of money...
hopefully they still serve the same set...
oh my~ the whole day been looking at food photos...
i'm so hungry now... XD
