JoJo Little Kitchen, The Strand, Kota Damansara

i was wondering the pass few days...
is it people from Kota Damansara love Pan Mee very much?
why is it so many Pan Mee restaurants opened up in Kota Damansara?
of course i can't answer the questions, unless i willing to spend my time for the survey...
JoJo little kitchen is a restaurant that selling Pan Mee with many different recipes...
and we tried most of the recipes...^^
their very sharp signboard outside the restaurant...
i was shocked when i saw their menu...
i was expecting their menu to be new because i thought they were newly opened...
in fact, they were there for couple of months... =)

start of with the drinks...
Honey Sea Coconut Cold @ RM 3.00
slightly too expensive to me because the sea coconut was too little...
Tau Foo Fa with Soya Milk @ RM 2.60
love it very much~ the combination was perfect!
Tau Foo Fa with white sugar @ RM 2.20
we got this for free on our 1st visit...was a treat from the restaurant owner when there was about their closing time...
what a kind owner... ^^
Tau Foo Fa with brown sugar @ RM 2.20
both sugar syrup have different taste...pick your own liking...
Tau Foo Fa with Longan @ RM 3.50
i never know how good the combination can be if Jing never order this~
nice! thumb up...
Tau Foo Fa with Cincau @ RM 2.60
this was normal...nothing special...ha!
1 of the side dishes that CL ordered...
Century Egg Dumpling (2 pcs) @ RM 3.00
although it was a bit too pricey, but i think they worth the price...
the dumplings were big and nice~
Traditional Soup Pan Mee @ RM 5.50
the soup was clear but not tasteless...not bad~
Traditional Knife Cut Pan Mee @ RM 6.00
the soup was same as the Traditional Soup Pan Mee, just that the Pan Mee they made it differently...
they cut it into pieces, that's why it called Knife Cut...
Herbal Chicken Pan Mee @ RM 7.00
one of my favourite~*Must Try* the herbal soup was thick!
even can taste the herbs in the chicken...nice!!
Fish Head Pan Mee @ RM 7.50
it was not the best fish head soup i ever had, but was quite okay~
i was surprised by the combination...was unexpectedly good...
i think it would be even better if they can make the soup not too milky... =)
Chili Pan Mee @ RM 5.80
another favourite of mine...another "Must Try"...
when everything mixed together, the taste was perfect!
you can always request to put chili by yourself according how hot you can take!
although there are plenty of Pan Mee restaurant in Kota Damansara, but JoJo little kitchen will always be our choice...they have another 6 outlets in different places...
can always refer to their facebook:

Moussandra Mediterranean & Tapas restaurant, Fahrenheit 88 KL

< Permanently CLOSED >

i always mad about food, no matter what kind of food...
and i like to try out new food with my love one and family~
saw the promotion deal offered by MyDeal, bought it after discussed with mummy...
it was a real good deal by having 50% discount on set dinner...
what a great one... ^^

Fahrenheit 88, formerly KL Plaza...
the management renovated it and renamed it as Fahrenheit 88...
we were looking for the restaurant, and we can't find it...
so i called up to ask their location and their staff was kind enough to actually come out, look for us and lead us to their restaurant...
this is where we entered the restaurant...
i guess this is their side entrance because this entrance was hiding in a optional exit walk way...
i never realise their main entrance until 2 whites walked into the restaurant...
i followed the way they walked in and the way leaded me to their main entrance...
then i saw this big signboard hanging there~
this restaurant looks very old from outside...
their interior also using the same style~
old, but very nice and soft...
they separated the restaurant into 2 sections...
this is where the whites seated...
***
the deal we bought not included drinks...
and they didn't tell us that they are serving free sky juice (this is the only mistake)...
so we ordered 2 drinks, which were Ice Honey Lemon Tea & Ice Lemon Tea~
their drinks are a bit too expensive for me...2 drinks cost us RM 20++...
but, the lucky thing is both drinks were good~ =)
in their set dinner menu, there were 2 appetizers, 4 main courses and 2 desserts for us to choose...
since we had 4 people, so we decided to have 2 sets of each appetizer and dessert...
while main course we taken all...
our appetizers~ *yum yum*
Sopa de Setas, cream of mushroom

they never stingy on ingredients... the soup was thick~ ^^
mummy's favourite - Sopa de Calabaza, home made creamy pumpkin soup...
is really so nice...
after the appetizer, they straight away served our main courses on the table~
Pizza Campestre... *yum*
thin crust pizza with beef bacon, mixed mushrooms & fresh basil...
i love the texture of the thin crust...and the combination of every ingredients~
Aglio E Olio Con Setas...
with fresh mushrooms, olive oil, garlic & dried chili...
a vegetarian dish...i fell in love with Aglio Olio after this... =)
Carbonara De La Casa Con Setas - my favourite main course of the night~
cream sauce with egg, beef bacon & mixed mushrooms...
the chef made the cream sauce just nice...not too creamy but good enough for the creamy taste stay in our mouth few seconds... thumb up for the chef!
Paella Valenciano...
saffron flavoured rice with seafood, chicken sausages & vegetables
so nice~~~~ i tried saffron flavoured rice before in another restaurant...i thought i would never take this kind of rice anymore...
but, Moussandra has changed my mind... ^^
when i saw the deal, the 1st thing that attracted me was the dessert...
they served the dessert that i wanted to try so badly together with the set~
Vanilla Creme Brulee - egg custard with crispy layer of caramel...
the portion is small, when they served it on the table, i thought it was because the dessert come together with the set and the portion became small...
although it was small, but was just enough for me...
or else it will end up i can't finish it because of the sweetness...
before i left the restaurant, i asked for their normal meal menu...and i found out that creme brulee was selling at RM 6...the portion didn't affect by the set meal i guess...
Affogato - home made vanilla ice cream drowned with Lavazza (espresso)...
dessert that i love but can't take much... =(
for coffee lover, this would be a great choice...is really fantastic...
saw this Christmas set promotion...
RM 150 per person, 4-course meal with a glass of house wine...
wow~ if i haven't make up my mind where to go, i will definitely come back here to have my Christmas dinner...
this is really a great place to have dinner with your love one...
with the romantic ambiance and good service...i will definitely come back again~ =)

Porridge Time, Sunway Pyramid

my last visit to Sunway Pyramid was the main reason that drive me back...
saw a lot of nice clothing when i was walking around while looking for food...
so, this time, we came back here for our new year clothes...
but unfortunately, most of the boutiques were already re-seasoned their stocks...
end up we were like went there purposely for our breakfast...
breakfast at Porridge Time, the 1st outlet of them...
and their are still serving quality food~ ^^
as usual, me and mummy ordered their Soya drinks...
and Jing had their herbal tea...
we ordered 2 of their signature dishes...
the Ginger Farm Frog served with plain porridge
and the Kong Po Farm Frog,
served with plain porridge too...
we also ordered their You Tiao and fish cake as side dishes...
their fish cake was good, but still not the best i had before...
i forgot to take their porridge's picture...
they used to serve in bowl but now in pot...
and portion is slightly bigger than before~
2 pots of porridge are good enough for 3 girls... ^^
it will always be a good choice for breakfast or brunch...
also for dinner if you want something light...
tried on their main outlet in Sunway Pyramid and another outlet in Tropicana City Mall...
both serving quality food...
price is reasonable...as we all know, farm frog is not really cheap...

T-bowl, Sunway Pyramid

went to Sunway Pyramid for the Christmas decoration...
it was his promise to me last year~
this year, we still keep the promise well... ^^
saw the advertisements in most of the main newspapers,
was so excited about this year decoration...
went there all the way, but we reached there quite late...
by the time we reached, most of the food stalls were closing~
we checked on the directory see whether got anything nice to eat...
and we found -  the T-bowl...
their KL 1st outlet in Sungei Wang Plaza...
wanted to try it for so long...but it was not recommended by friends...
since we couldn't find anything to eat as dinner, we decided to have a try...
their very cute menu...with a real toothbrush on it...
tables are all supported by basin...
and they have different decoration for every table...
this was our table... ^^
 table beside us...
the toilet bowls as our chairs...
this is how it looks like...
their decoration was really good...
the concept is almost the same like the original toilet concept restaurant in Taiwan...
but when come to the food and drinks they served...
i found it very hard to give them an A...
our drinks - Honey Lemon Ice
can't taste the honey in the drinks, ice cubes were too much even we already asked for less ice...
too sour for my liking, and the portion was terribly small...
his order - Chinese Mambo Pork Rice
they have a big picture of this hanging on their wall...
so, can i take it as 1 of their signature dishes? i think so...
imagine if signature dish also doesn't taste good~
the rice was too oily, the pork slice was tasteless...
and the dumpling tasted weird... =.=
my choice - Chicken Chop Fried Black Pepper Udon
the udon was quite good... not too salty or spicy, was just right...
but, the chicken chop was tasteless...
and this was a Chef Recommended dish...
to show their toilet board shape plate... =P
the best order of the night - Donut Delight
the poo poo shape ice-cream...
i ordered it just because i wanted to take picture...ha!
too sweet for my liking~
it would be good for a sharing of 2...
their entrance was decorated with a bath tub...
i should put this picture on top but i snapped it before i left the restaurant...
so i put according to the sequence... XD
their entrance wall...
the theme was really good...
but i will not go back again because i found it doesn't worth the price that they are charging...
is good to have a try if you never been there before...
for photo taking purpose...
and i would rather wait for the chance to visit the original toilet concept restaurant in Taiwan... =)

La Gomera Spanish Buffet, NEO Damansara, Damansara Perdana

saw the promotion on MyDeal...
was attracted by the words "Spanish Buffet"...
without thinking twice, i decided to buy the voucher...
hardly to find a weekday night to go for the buffet...
as what i read from other food-bloggers...
some of the food might not be re-filled and the buffet start at 6pm...
finally, we managed to go for it during our Haji public holiday~
i was impressed by their side entrance...
their entrance looks so nice and grand...
i do really like their interior design...
with the comfortable lighting...
the ambience there is so nice~
i was too hungry when i reached there...
so, i only managed to take some pictures when i'm already full... ha!
there's the place they served all the salad and tapas...
by the time i took this picture, all the tapas were finished!
and they never re-filled it...
or maybe they re-fill it during later time but not before i left...
the grilled & fried section...
their grilled seafood do not impress me...
those hot food all served along the walk way...
i think there were more than 10 dishes...i never count~
but what i ate were not more than 5...
the so call dessert they served...
i wouldn't eat cakes as my dessert for buffet...
maybe others people will like it...
their beverage counter...
which i think it was good...
they served plenty choices of drinks...
and they served Nestle ice-cream too...
that's all for the environment of the restaurant...
let's see what i had for my Spanish buffet dinner...
once i stepped into the restaurant,
tapas they served really attracted me...
and i'm glad that i took them before anything else...
all tapas i took were nice and yummy except for the hard boiled egg...
i picked 4 different fried food from their fried counter...
their fried shrimps were nice and fresh,
but their fried oyster mushroom is too oily for my liking~
what i picked from hot food section...
i only like their mushroom...
the broccoli was tasteless...the omelet was like Chinese omelet with onion...
and the fish fillet was fishiness...
i wanted to try their clams cooked with garlic gravy that highly recommended by my friend...
but, unfortunately it was finished by the time i want to take...
and it replaced by other dish... *sad*

our deal comes together with a free seafood platter...
- Zuzuela -
i like this seafood platter so much...
the seafood were fresh and the gravy was yummy...
it taste a bit sour but not too much~ it's just simply made me have good appetite! ^^
i believe it could be a very good appetizer...
when we were about to leave...
the waiter served the so call Lobster salad...
and i managed to snap it in perfect condition...
just before it "abuse" by others...ha!
been looking forward to try on it...
expecting it to give me some new impact~
and finally...it turns bad...
my over expectation might be one of the reason why it turns bad...
i'm not sure whether will i go back for 2nd try...
but i'm sure i will definitely look for a proper Spanish restaurant if i want to have Spanish food...
