Saffron Indian Restaurant, Sri Hartamas

Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisines are the most common food that i take almost everyday...

however, i have never write about any Indian restaurant before~

too common until i forgot about some of them too worth sharing maybe...

Saffron Indian Restaurant is one of them...

located in Sri Hartamas, like a hidden gem in the area...

i wouldn't know there is Indian restaurant if is not recommended...

 from where we seated, i can't get my eyes off from this painting...

just like now, i can't stop thinking about what i had in Saffron that afternoon...

it was a meeting lunch and i would say the most enjoyable meeting lunch...

Mango Lassi  RM 4.50

 made from fresh mango with their special recipe...

so thick and milky but not too sweet~

fragrance of mango lingers in my mouth...

best mango lassi ever...

Fish Koftas  RM 7.50

i called it fish cake Indian style...

minced fish mixed with lots of chopped ingredient~

deep fried to perfection...

crispy outside and soft inside... tasty!!

Aloo Pratha  RM 4.80

 Indian flat-bread stuffed with spiced mixture of mashed potato...

it would be great for afternoon tea too i'm sure...

nice piece of savoury... yummy!! 

Bhoona Gosht  RM 16.50

 Mutton Bhoona Gosht we ordered...

believe me, this is awesome!!

nicely marinated, mutton was tender and flavourful...

i can finish my whole plate of rice just with this!!

a must order item of Saffron... =D

Bhindi Masala  RM 8.70

ladyfingers in masala sauce...

Indian is always the king of spices...

the colour of the dish might give the impression of hot and spicy...

but it wasn't really spicy though...

in fact it was with very strong fragrance and every bite i tasted the flavour of the spices...

oh my~ i'm craving for the food they served...

any Indian food lovers out there?
