Moussandra Mediterranean & Tapas Restaurant, Solaris Dutamas

Publika and Solaris Dutamas are both food paradise...
almost all kinds of restaurant are there~
as it was the nearest to my office previously, we had almost all the celebrations there...
back in August, we celebrated Soul's birthday in Moussandra...
Moussandra Mediterranean & Tapas Restaurant
Moussandra was formerly located in Fahrenheit 88...
shifted to Solaris Dutamas not long ago before we visited...
i had a great dining experience at their previous outlet in Fahrenheit 88...
always wanting to visit them again, but was stopped by the far distance...
when i read about them shifted, i was jumping with joy~
signature candle
Solaris Dutamas outlet was much smaller compared to the previous one...
so, is better to make reservation than walk in...
we were so lucky to have them arranged the corner seats for us...
they were having a full house and we didn't make any reservations...
the service was as great as i remember... =)
menu
menu with all kinds of variety...
they have a wide range of tapas...
it was only 3 of us and 2 of us aren't big eater...
we only managed to have a few dishes...
Red Sangria (Jug)  RM 90.00
as the birthday girl is a cocktail lover...
how to miss the signature mediterranean cocktail...
red sangria with chopped apple was really refreshing and good...
3 of us finished the whole jug and was thinking to have another jug... =P
Cordero Albondigas En Salsa De Cafe  RM 16.00
obviously we didn't know what it was if only looking at the name of the dish...
it was lamb meatballs in brown sauce...
the meatballs absorbed the taste of the sauce and it was just perfectly cooked...
tasty and definitely a kick start of dinner...
Ceasar Ensalada  RM 21.00
ceasar salad as usual, favourite of the birthday girl...
nothing special to shout about...
Seafood Kakavia  RM 21.00
spicy tomato based seafood soup with seafood, tomatoes and capsicum...
like this soup as it opened our taste bud...
the waitress was so kind to put the soup into two plates as she knew that it was for sharing...
Pizza Primavera  RM 28.00
our first try on "vegetarian" pizza...
this pizza was topped with anchovies, grilled eggplants, roasted red peppers, spinach, mozzarella and fresh basil on pesto base...
i personally like it very much as it was pretty different with what we normally have...
and the combination of the toppings was good~
Paella Valenciana  RM 45.00
paella is something you shouldn't miss whenever you visit a mediterranean restaurant...
saffron flavoured rice with seafood and chicken...
very generous on the ingredient, clams, prawns, fish, squid, mussel, chicken and chicken sausages...
flavourful and delicious... thumb up~
Vanilla Cream Brulee (Large)  RM 12.00
a meal without dessert is never a complete meal...
more so we needed a dessert to represent the birthday cake...
the waitress recommended cream brulee as it was one of the best sellers...
it was pretty good, though not the best that i ever had...
only we were struggling to put the candle as it was so soft inside... =D

overall, we had a great night there~
good food, good environment, good service and with great companion...
will surely return for more...
no excuse in future as it is not so far away now... ^^
