it was a hot sunny day~
we planned up the holiday to give mummy a birthday surprise...
bought a great deal from Groupon and went to this new restaurant in Solaris Dutamas...
heard about this restaurant from friends saying that it has a very nice night view...
we were talking about to plan a dinner there and coincidentally the deal came up...
only i went with family not with friends... =D

a restaurant which has been nicely decorated...

it would definitely be good for hi-tea~

yes! it's a LCD TV...
even in the toilet, there is TV...
well, maybe the owner just would like his guests been entertained all the time... =D

which included 2 drinks, 2 soup of the day, 2 mains and 2 desserts of the day...

iced lemon tea was the drink that came along...
it was quite okay, not overly sweet nor tasteless...

pumpkin soup was the soup of the day they served...
we went just after Halloween, i suppose that's why the pumpkin soup was served...
haha~ just saying... ignore me please... =P

| Grilled Chicken Sandwich |
grilled chicken slices, lettuces, cucumber and avocado sandwiched in ciabatta bread...
served with salad and fries...
i personally love this sandwich very much...
not only the chicken was grilled to perfection,
with the special sauce they used, the sandwich was so tasty...

it was more like grilled lamb chop...
but i really enjoyed this lamb chop...
it was so nice~ nicely marinated, perfectly grilled...
served with homemade mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables...
double thumbs up...!! =)

an ordinary dish where we can get it everywhere...
but Zender's one was good...
a big piece of fish fillet, deep fried yet still juicy inside...

| Bolognaise Pasta with Minced Chicken |
i'm not a big fan of bolognaise pasta...
however, i would say their pasta was okay...
generous on the sauce and minced chicken, spaghetti was nicely cooked...
my baby nieces enjoyed it so much~

| Mediterranean Chicken Rice |
we were hesitating to order this dish at the beginning...
when it was served, it smelled so good...
the fragrance of the gravy made us no regret...
of course, it tasted absolutely good!
chicken was tender and juicy, fully absorbed the essence from the gravy...
oh yums!! dish of the day la~ XD
the gravy went so well with the rice too... nice!!

when come to dessert, it was where really disappointed me...
it was just a small piece of normal sponge cake...
totally different with what printed on the voucher...
overall, it was a nice dining experience with Zender's...
except one clumsy waiter poured the whole glass of iced lemon tea on mummy...
though they apologized right away, but i seriously think that they should have done something more solid...
a free dessert from the menu or even a discount voucher for next visit...
is not that we want the freebies but what can a "sorry" do?
anyway, they did give us extra good service after that...
mummy was quite okay with it, so i kept my mouth shut instead of shouting to them...
to be fair, their food was really good...
though accident happened, it will not stop me from visiting them again...
hopefully by then, they have already much improved...
