Mezze Bar & Bistro, Medan Damansara (revisit)

i had a great day out with myself at Poco~ 

but i never expect the night started with a shocking news...

although it was not as what i've planned... but i had a great night with my beloved buddies...

at one of my favourite restaurat~ a restaurant that i always grumbling about i wanted to try their dinner menu...

and yes! last minute we decided to have my birthday dinner there~

thank God it was not full house yet when we arrived...

let's see what we had for the night at Mezze...

Cod Brandade  RM25.00

this was awesome! was in their special menu...
a very good tapas to start with...
minced cod baked with cheese and some other ingredients...
dipped with small slices of bread~ yummy!

French Pizza  RM 33.00

i didn't manage to snap the whole pizza as all my hungry buddies can't wait to bite it~
this was my slice of the pizza...
it was also from their special menu~ another tapas which recommended by the waiter...
cheesy, crunchy and very generous on the topping~

Olio Bacon  RM 31.00

as i mentioned in my previous post, this was very famous among us!
highly recommended! it was real nice...
and the chef never miss... tasted the same everytime i visit~
spaghetti fried with pork bacon, sun-dried tomatoes and herbs in olive oil...
hmm~ i miss it!

Carbonara  RM 26.00

spaghetti carbonara served with fresh egg?
this was the first time i saw it been served this way~
the carbonara was so good! i think i would say is one of the best in town...
it was creamy, cheesy but not sticky...
i guess that's because of the egg~

Sausages of the Week  RM 49.00

this lamb sausages were HUGE! and we were making fun of it throughout the night~
it was not bad... but the skin of the sausages caused the points minus...
besides that, everything was not bad~ i don't fancy mustard sauce...
but it was good when it mixed with the special sauce and dipped with the sausages...

Jumbo Prawn  RM 62.00

"wow! HUGE prawn!" that was our reaction when the prawn been served to our table...
but to take it as main course, the portion was too small...
the rice served with the prawn was too small and two HUGE prawns will not be filling enough~
taste wise, prawn was fresh... cooked in their special sauce...
tasted real good!

Mezze Burger  RM 43.00

this was great! i love this burger...
homemade pork patty with special sauce...
the burger bread itself already tasted out of the world...
juicy, tender and with lot of different spices... yummy!

Vongole  RM 26.00

this spaghetti was good but it will not be a good choice for heavy flavors...
the clam was fresh... overall it tasted like clam soup Chinese style~
i prefer the Olio Bacon personally... 

Tiramisu  RM 19.00

this was kinda disappointing...
it was too sticky and hardly tasted the rum in it~
i would have spend the RM19 for something else...

Sorbet  RM 15.00

this was good... i love the sour taste of it~
actually i can't remember what's the name of the fruits...
but it was recommended by the lady boss or manager there... 

Pavlova  RM 25.00

my birthday "cake" of the night~
it was a dessert special requested by my best buddy...
according to the workers, this is the best item to represent the birthday cake...
and yes! it tasted good... fruits, cream, biscuit like base and chocolate syrup...
and most importantly, it was not too sweet...
but i feel so sweet in my heart... =)

i really wanted to thank my beloved buddy for arranging all that~
my surprise birthday present... a very special birthday "cake"...
love them all~ love her much...
and i believe our friendship will last forever~ ^^
