Bistro 42, Bangsar Village II

ow yea~ i always love high tea...
especially the proper English high tea is driving me crazy...
when i read about the high tea set serving in Bistro 42~
i've planned to visit and i'm so lucky to have a bunch of friends who love food as i do...
and always allow me to choose where to eat...
on a leisurely Sunday... when Paul came back from Brunei~
we had our high tea gathering at Bistro 42, Bangsar Village II...
the colourful window~
looking at the colourful window~ how i wish i can try all of them...
it was really tempting... =P
Fruit Tea and Flower Tea from the High T42
Paul said he drinks a lot nowadays...
refillable fruit tea or flower tea is really a good choice~
Latte  RM 7.90
they used to serve hot drinks in very nice flower cups...
now, even coffee art also as nice as before~
Mocha  RM 9.90
i kinda like their mocha~
the combination of coffee and chocolate was just nice...
it would be perfect if they cut down the sweetness...
Turkish Apple Frosty  RM 11.90
it looks really good in the picture...
and Walter did say it tasted quite good~
High T42  RM 59.90
the signature of Bistro 42...
almost every blogger blog about their High T42...
tier 1 of High T42
from tier 1, we had donuts, macarons and marshmallows...
i didn't try the donuts, but the macarons and marshmallow were too sweet for me...
tier 2 of High T42
from tier 2, we had scones with clotted cream & berry preserves, cookies and madeleines...
for scones, the one from Smokehouse, Cameron Highland still the best in town...
too bad i didn't get a chance to try the madeleines...
it looks great from the picture~ XD
tier 3 of High T42
the savories from the bottom tier were the best of all...
cucumber & cream cheese finger sandwich,
egg mayo & ranch chicken baby cuboid loaves, and
house-cured salmon open sandwich~
all were good...
choice of displayed dessert: Banana Tart
a gold piece on the tart...
and it was not a blueberry tart, was a banana tart...
and yes! it tasted surprisingly good~ =)
SW B42 Platter  RM 19.90
it was basically the same things from the bottom tier of High T42...
overall Bistro 42 is a good place to hang around with a bunch of good friends~
but i will not have the High T42 again... simply because i don't have sweet tooth... XD
the SW B42 Platter will be a good choice for sharing though...
oh ya~ maybe come back for lunch or dinner will be a good idea...
the fragrance of the food from the next table did attract me~ =D
