d'italiane' kitchen, Sunway Giza

Christmas day~
planned the Christmas dinner for weeks...
can't make up our mind which restaurant to go as we were interested on too many restaurants...
after some discussion, we decided not to leave Kota Damansara so that we won't caught in the jam~
d'italiane' kitchen, an Italian restaurant that i've been interested for years...
i had few dishes in my mind before i stepped into the restaurant...
telling my ♥ that i must try all the dishes that i wanted to try~
end up...........
the initial plan had change!

let's start from the beverage part...
my ♥ has addicted to coffee...he must has coffee everyday~
and, whenever we go to western restaurant...he will always order his all time favourite~!
Cafe Latte~
according to my ♥, they served good Cafe Latte... ^^
later on, we found that they served house wine with reasonable price...
hence, we ordered their special pouring of the night...
Leconfield Synergy Chardonnay 08 - the white wine...
i am not a wine specialist, so i can't comment on the wine precisely...
but, i do like it's taste! smooth and easy to drink...

since it was Christmas, we decided to have their special Christmas menu...
which included soup, appetizer, main course & dessert...
we chose 2 out of 3 from the menu...
the only difference of the set was the main course...
let's start from the soup~
soup, we had Tuscan soup...
chopped Italian chicken sausage cooked with young potato, spinach in cream chicken broth topped with buttered foccacia...
the soup was rich and yummy~ good for warmed our stomach...
Cheese Stuffed Calamari , our appetizer of the night~
Calamari stuffed with ricotta, parmesan cheese mixtured, pan grilled till perfection, topped with spicy tomato sauce...
really love it so much! the squid was fresh and the cheese never taste too strong~yummy!
for main course, we had Roasted Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing...
permium Australian turkey marinated & slow roast till perfection served with sauteed potato & seasonal vegetables...
turkey is a must for Christmas...i love it when it melted in my mouth~
the turkey was just nicely cooked...*yum*
another mains of the set, we had Salmon Fillet with Champagne...
boneless salmon fillet marinated in Italian herbs paste, pan grilled till perfection, served with roasted potato & vegetables topped with champagne cream reduction~
my all time favourite - salmon... i like the champagne sauce that brought out the freshness taste of the salmon...
it was a real good combination... ^^
as for dessert, they served Rum Christmas Log Cake...
topped with strawberry sauce...
it was just like normal log cake...and was not too sweet~
perhaps they should served a bigger slice... XD
we decided to choose 2 more side orders to make sure everyone is full...
River Prawn Arabiatta...
giant freshwater prawn in spicy tomato sauce...
not recommended for this pasta...
the prawn taste was too strong until it covered the sauce taste...
another extra order, Smoked Duck Pasta...
smoked duck slices, spring onions, button mushrooms, garlic slices and mozzarella on tomato sauce...
highly recommended! was everyone's favourite of the night~
crispy and yummy! must try!

because of Christmas, the restaurant got full house...
we were lucky to have a waitress willing to put aside her works and helped us to take a group picture~
had a great Christmas celebration...really enjoyed myself a lot!
i believe they think the same... =)
