Bangsar is an area full of eateries, restaurants, bars, cafes and even dessert shops...

it's also the favourite area for our 38 Gang gathering as it is in the center of everyone~

3 months back, we celebrated aki's birthday at this newly opened restaurant...

aki chose to visit this new outlet which appeared a lot in most of the famous food blogs that time...

i was the first one to arrive...

taking my own sweet time to take their photos while waiting for the rest...

hanging menu

a set of hanging menu was hanging outside the restaurant...

at their outdoor seating area...

high tables and chairs

walked into the restaurant, high tables and chairs on the right...

good for group gathering but surely not for ladies with short skirt...

there's a rack separating the high tables and chairs seating area with the normal dining area...

displaying all the bottles with LA PA labels...

the long joined tables is where we seated that night...

the whole restaurant wasn't a big one but was good enough to seat up to 40 pax...

complimentary plain water

like all the cafes in town, complimentary plain water was served immediately to our table once i was seated...

complimentary fries

not sure if this complimentary fries was for everyone...

but our table have at least 3 or 4 servings...

sweet potato and potato fries were both good...

Quail Herbed Pasta  RM 27.00

herbed pasta served with whole baked quail...

the chicken wasn't very well marinated, the pasta was a bit flat...

i only took a bite from their plate, they were adding salt and chili sauce to finish it...

lots of improvement needed...

Rack of Lamb  RM 49.90

rack of lamb was quite good for the price we paid...

the lamb was tender and juicy, sauce was flavourful and enhanced the taste of the lamb...

3 pieces of lamb rack served with sides...

my hubby will surely ask for Ramly burger after that~

well, he is a big eater, judge with your own experience... =)

Lamb Sliders  RM 35.00

mini lamb burger with homemade patty served with tartar sauce, sour cucumber and salsa...

the patty was good, well marinated and juicy~

i like the idea of mini burger, feel like not so sinful having it...

burger is always not good for sharing but this mini burgers came with 3 burgers is definitely ideal for sharing...

the tartar sauce, sour cucumber and salsa are to blend with the sliders...

but i prefer the original taste of it...

Salmon Sliders  RM 32.00

salmon sliders is the same with the lamb sliders...

the only different was the patty, it was homemade salmon patty for the salmon sliders...

for those who are sensitive with fishiness, this might not be your cup of tea...

having mini burgers is kinda smart to target the lady crowds...

i'm sure ladies will still prefer looking elegant while enjoying their burgers...

gathering of the month

all of us with the birthday girl in the middle...

i really love the culture of celebrating each other birthday every year...

not only gave us a good reason to gather, but also to show our love to each other~

LA PA

located along with many other cafes and restaurant in Jalan Telawi...

LA PA has it's own uniqueness...

it would be great if their breakfast menu can be served all day~

as all the reviews we read were about their breakfast items, but breakfast only until 11am...

it was a great disappointment to all of us that night as non the blog or even any information stated that the breakfast menu is not all day...

well, you could also argue that they didn't mention otherwise too...

haha! perhaps is a great trick to make people come back again...

Happy Birthday my dear

we went to Alexis after that for desserts...

actually was more for a piece of nice cake for the birthday girl...

Alexis' tiramisu was ranked top in my eating list back then...

not anymore now~ =D

not because their standard has dropped, simply because i've found a better one...
