i got a shock when i first saw Hard Rock Cafe in Malacca during my staff trip in May...
couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it and it actually shows how outdated i am...
didn't get to visit during staff trip due to time constrained...
since i have another chance during family trip, of course i won't miss the chance again...
Hard Rock Cafe, Malacca |
the signature guitar standing beautifully at the entrance~
when i was looking at the cafe...
i couldn't recall what was there before it turns to Hard Rock...
i couldn't recall what was there before it turns to Hard Rock...
Bar |
i've never been to any Hard Rock before...
not even the one in KL....
the bar area of the cafe was really nice~
only a little too crowded with all the tables and chairs been arranged too close...
Band Stage |
a very nice stage and band setup...
i think it would be really nice to spend a night there~
enjoying the live band music and a couple of drinks...
oh~ what a night... =)
Dining area |
the dining area was the one closer to the entrance...
it was totally different with what's in the bar...
spacious arrangement, comfortable dining tables and chairs...
there were a few sofa seats too...
we took a quiet corner to enjoy our "afternoon tea"...
Latte |
as usual~ mummy and bei had their normal latte...
the latte was normal... nothing to shout about~
Lemonade |
a cold icy lemonade was extra good for a hot afternoon...
i wonder we will still like it the same if we visit in the night~ =D
Jumbo Combo |
a mix of all the famous starters of Hard Rock Malacca...
spring rolls, smoked chicken wings, potato skins, onion rings and chicken tenders...
served with 4 different sauces...
Jumbo Combo |
a closer look~
everything tasted nice, especially the smoked chicken wings...
it would be perfect if it's served to us hot...
can't remember how much it cost, i lost my receipt... =(
well, it was slightly expensive of course~
after all, it's a branded cafe...
but i think is fine to spend the money once in a blue moon...
overall everything was quite okay...
but i would expect the staff to be well trained since it's a well known 5 stars cafe...
the staff seem not so attentive and not really concentrate at work...
for a few times i have to wave really long to get service...
it was still new~ i will give them a second chance for sure... =)
