Brussels Beer Cafe, Setia Walk, Puchong

ha! had our crazy gathering again...

it's been months since our last meet~ 

finally, catch a gathering before he fly off...

since beer is the main thing for our gathering... 

they decided to have the gathering at Setia Walk, Puchong...

my first time to Setia Walk and i have cultural shock!

the place was nice but just too happening!

not only packed with night life people, but also children swimming or rather playing the water from the "pool" (it's not a proper swimming pool, is more like man-made pond)...

when Jian and i found out that they actually targeting Brussels Beer Cafe...

we both went mad! Jaya One and Mont Kiara has their outlet too...

why came all the way from PJ to Puchong...

1 hour drive! it's ridiculous!! that's our reaction in the car... XD

settled down with seats (we can't make up our mind to sit outside or inside the restaurant)...

we started to check on their menu...

Jian shouted: " please order this! i want this!"

Roasted Pork  RM 19.80

fusion style roasted pork...

it was a very nice beer food... crispy and not overly salty...

and it went so well with the sauce given...

on the left, mustard sauce and garlic sauce on the right...

i would like to say RM 19.80 for this little bit is extremely expensive...

i didn't realize the price til now i'm looking at the receipt to put the price in my blog...

Blind Finches  RM 13.80

this was the best beer food i've ever eaten!

minced pork wrapped with thinly sliced pork bacon and slowly braised in Leffe Blonde Onion Sauce...

the gravy just so nice that we wiped it off with the bread...

juicy and tender, not overly salty and with the fragrance of Leffe Blonde...

nice nice nice!! highly recommended... =D

Meatball Braised in Leffe Brune Sauce  RM 13.80

the moment i saw "Leffe Brune" on the menu, i said i want this no matter what~
Leffe Brune became my favourite dark beer since my first sip...
and i would say this was awesome too!
the meatballs absorbed the essence of the Leffe Brune...
with the onion and herbs in it, it became flavourful...
of course, it went very well with beer~
the later 2 beer food were just very much worth while compared with the roasted pork...
we took their Oktoberfest set beer which was RM 100.00 for 4 bottles...
choice of Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier or Erdinger Weissbier...
we chose 2 each for our first...
all 4 of us prefer Erdinger Weissbier as it tasted better and smoother...
bottled Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier was not as good as draught...
it smell like cockroach but the after taste in mouth was great...
we can't take the smell so we changed to all 4 Erdinger Weissbier for the second set...
every purchase of the Oktoberfest set will get 1 special Oktoberfest ceramic mug FREE!
the gigantic mugs are now under King's safe guard i believe...
i left out the picture of the beer and mugs as we were too happily taking our own photos...
