nowadays, cozy cafes are everywhere~
my dream life is always to enjoy a lazy afternoon with a nice book in hand...
a cup of nice coffee and a slice of yummy-licious cake...
in a cozy cafe, surrounded by the fragrance of coffee...
apparently, that's impossible for now~ =(
went to this cozy little cafe on my day off...

Coffee Famille, Sunsuria Avenue, Kota Damansara

i read about them through a blog...
their presentation of the cake attracted me...
if is not the blog, i wouldn't have been to this area of Kota Damansara...

it's gonna be the last part of my great long weekend during the Malaysia Day holiday...

the morning breakfast before we left Ipoh...

we've been craving for Ipoh's roasted pork and this is where we got our crave fixed...

it was coffee shop that offers plenty of food choices...

and their drinks were awesome!

Home Delivery: Canadian 2for1 Pizza

the common question between me and Bei is "what to eat tonight?"...

thinking of what to eat as dinner is always very difficult for us~

why? because we are not rich that can eat whatever without looking at the price...

but we always wanted to try something new... i know right?

sometime, we don't even feel like going again as the bad traffic will goes on until about 8pm and we don't really wish to have late dinner...

what a problematic couple... =S

that was a night where we don't feel like going out yet wanted to have something new...

call for delivery service was a brilliant idea~

but again, what to order? 

had really bad experiences with Popeye and Pizza Hut (waited for 1 hour+)...

Dominos? hmm... not the mood to have it...

then, Canadian 2for1 Pizza's TV commercial suddenly popped out in my mind...

i found that we can actually order our pizzas online...

yes! no phone calls, just a few clicks and check your email, that's all!!

of course, you will have to register an account with them... =D

Departure Lounge, Damansara Utama

take a break from Perak and back in PJ area...

had an early date with my girlfriend for breakfast in Damansara Utama...

so happened i saw a blogger blog about this busy lounge~

i wonder why people get up so early on Saturday...

what's the best for a hot sunny afternoon?

yes! a nice cendol will be the best~

after the short visit to Port Weld, we head back to Taiping town for the best cendol in town...

it was not easy to find the restaurant...

we turned a few rounds within the area then only found it...

the road was very quiet but the car parking slots in front of the restaurant were full...

they have a big seating capacity...

looking clean and typical Indian-Muslim mamak style arrangement...

hmm... it tasted so great under the hot sun...

auntie claimed that the cendol wasn't that good compared with the one selling in Ipoh...

Restoran Tepi Sungai, Port Weld (Kuala Sepetang), Taiping

went all the way to Taiping from Ipoh on Malaysia Day...

it was not really a far distance but it took half and hour for us to reach our destination...

i've never heard about Port Weld until daddy Kang told us about it...

let me share a little story about Port Weld:-

went to Ipoh on last Saturday after work to have a short getaway for the long weekend...

before our departure to Ipoh,
godfather has already called and asked us to reach there by 5.30pm...

that's because dinner crowd started at about 6 - 6.30pm... 

upon our arrival, auntie has already told us that she wanted to bring us
for a nice Curry Fish Head...

they've found a restaurant with good curry nearer with the house...

Restoran Yan Ming is a restaurant opened in First Garden, Ipoh last year October
(if i'm not mistaken)...

serving normal Chinese cuisine at affordable price in the neighbourhood...

guess what it is...

after we've placed our order for dishes, the waitress brought this to our table~

i've never seen people using this kind of container to serve chopped garlic and chili...

since we were there before the dinner crowd, we didn't wait long for our food to be served...
