Plan B, Bangsar Village I

it was a birthday celebration for one of my BFF~
first of all, i would like to apologize to her...
on the lower quality photos of her big day...
i know she will understand and forgive me... =P
***
Plan B in Bangsar Village I~
on 5th of March 2012...
10 of us... gathered together to wish our best friend a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY...
it was a great dinner gathering...
not so fancy, but sweet and warm~
let's see what we had...
started with the very meaningful sentence on the menu...
When life gives you lemons, make LEMONADE...
when i saw this drink, i thought it was Ice Coffee or whatever~
surprisingly, it wasn't... and it actually tasted quite good...
Frosty Lemon Tea  RM 9.00
then, i saw another drink which green in colour~
i thought i was something to do with mint or apple...
again, i was wrong... well~ who will know the mixture of Lychee and Lime will be green?
ya! now i know... so do you~ XD
Lychee Lime  RM 9.00
this time, i won't be wrong again...
white in colour~ smooth, sweet and milky...
it's milkshake~
Butterscotch Milkshake  RM 10.00
i as usual will have my mocha...
the spoiled coffee art... but the mocha was good!
i wish they could served a bigger glass... ha!
Mocha  RM 8.00
and my Bei too... as usual will has his cup of latte~
when the latter was served, i was wondering...
is that the coffee art? no, i supposed...
Latte  RM 6.00
i guess my BFF love milkshake...
another milkshake but different flavor...
it was too milky, it would be good if they could put a little more chocolate syrup in it...
Chocolate Milkshake  RM 10.00
this is the best presented drink of the night~
i love this hot chocolate... it wasn't too sweet...
and not over chocolaty... hmm~
Hot Chocolate  RM 8.00
oh gosh~ i missed out the complimentary plain water...
2 big bottles of plain water on the table...
can be refilled too... ^^
okay~ let's move on to our food...
the Birthday Girl wanted to keep her body fit~
hence, she had only sandwich...
grilled chicken, turkey bacon, roasted capsicums & avo and feta mash,
stacked on egg mayo spread, held together by 3 slices of their home-made white bread...

well~ it was not bad, but i won't say it was nice too...
the grilled chicken wasn't juicy, it was hard and dry...
but the portion was good! she can't even finish the whole sandwich...
The Loaded Club  RM 20.00
i've never try any pasta with lamb before...
one of our mains was spaghetti with lamb meatball...
served with smoky eggplant and tomato sauce...
it was quite good... i like the lamb meatball and the eggplant~
it would be perfect if it was not too oily towards the end...
Moroccan Lamb Meatballs  RM 22.00
softshell crab with pasta was also my first try...
it was a fusion dish, combination of Asian and Western...
spaghetti tossed in creamy butter sauce, topped with crispy curry leaves and chili flakes...
it was not the taste i like~ i don't like the curry leave taste...
but my friends were saying it was quite good too...
Asian Style Golden Softshell Crab Spaghetti  RM 22.00
Plan B is very creative on their pastas...
crab meat with linguine, what a new match...
perhaps, i didn't experience enough on food industry~
but it was good... not too fishy...
maybe because they scented with lemongrass and kaffir lime,
and tossed with tomatoes, garlic and spiced prawn oil...
Spicy Crabmeat Linguine  RM 22.00
my main was the best dish of the night... (only my personal point of view)
home-made patties with melted cheddar, served with fries and onion rings...
the patties were juicy and well marinated...
hmm... i miss the burger already~ it was really nice...
p/s: it's a beef burger, for those who can't take beef, please be aware~ ^^
Double Cheese Burger  RM 23.00
Plan B served quite a number of Asian dishes too...
one of it is Nasi Dagang...
served with gulai chicken, acar rampai, solok lada and keropok...
Nasi Dagang  RM 24.00
pasta marinara is always the safest choice...
no matter how terrible the chef is, it will always taste almost the same~
tossed with tomato sauce, capers, fresh prawns and calamari...
ingredients were fresh... portion was good...
Pasta Marinara  RM 22.00
Plan B served a couple of vegetarian dishes too...
we must take care of our friend's diet too ma... XD
linguine with wild mushrooms, scented with thyme truffle oil...
Wild Mushroom Linguine  RM 19.00
we can't call it as birthday celebration without cake cutting ceremony...
so, we ordered a tiny cake from the display fridge...
sang the birthday song, blew the candle and cut the cake~
although the cake was not nice, but we enjoyed ourselves throughout the ceremony...
Strawberry Cheesecake  RM 9.00
it was a great birthday dinner... we enjoyed ourselves...
the beauty part of this dinner was no matter where's our working place...
we took the effort, travel around... just to send our wishes to our best friends~
love my BFF much... ^^
all of us~ photo courtesy by a passers-by...
overall, Plan B was a nice place to go~
their food and drinks were okay with reasonable price...
nice ambiance, cozy and comfortable...
service was quite okay, but there is still rooms for improvement~
would like to visit their new branch in Publika, Solaris Dutamas...
