Departure Lounge, Damansara Utama

take a break from Perak and back in PJ area...

had an early date with my girlfriend for breakfast in Damansara Utama...

so happened i saw a blogger blog about this busy lounge~

the lounge with very interesting name and concept...

- Departure Lounge -

a place that can bring me closer to my traveling dreams... =)

a wall full of photos...

so lucky that we could get a table in front of this photos wall...

we arrived at about 10.30am, and it was packed full...

i wonder why people get up so early on Saturday...

we walked in to the lounge and walked out to the outdoor seats...

the left over indoor seats area was too crowded~ 

then we saw people leaving while lining up to order

and the table in front of the photos wall was available...

of course we grabbed the table... 

i was seating in front of the "Wall of Dreams"... XD

the bar station, the order station, the cashier

went round the lounge, not really big with the seating arrangement...

but good enough to have a bar station...

the bar station is also the order station, the cashier and the display of their cakes... =)

the tall table & chairs and the bookshelf 

this was taken very much later, after the breakfast crowd and before the lunch crowd...

the bookshelf was filled with all travel books, magazines or guides...

if you are planning for a vacation, you may find the books are really useful...

even if you are not, you will enjoy reading too... ^^

Cappuccino  RM 8.50

i was there to fix my coffee crave...
too bad that they do not serve my all time favourite - Mocha...
i was struggling to choose what to drink...
finally, i picked cappuccino...
i'm not a coffee expert, but i do think their cappuccino was not bad~ 

Pink Guava  RM 8.50

my girlfriend doesn't fancy coffee...

she picked Pink Guava juice instead of hot drinks...

she said it was quite nice~ ^^

our boarding pass... ^^

Departure Lounge is practising half self-service...

where you have to order at the counter, pick up your own drinks and get your "Boarding Pass" to your table...

the boarding pass basically is a number for them to serve you your ordered food... =D

Do It My Way (5 items)  RM 12.90

the Do It My Way breakfast is a signature dish of Departure Lounge...

why is it called Do It My Way?

because you can choose from 3 items, 5 items or 7 items to make your plate...

then, pick whatever you would like to have in your plate from the list given...

we picked 5 items as 3 will be too little and 7 sounds a lot to us...

we had Chicken Sausages, Turkey Bacon, Mushrooms, Grilled Tomato and Scrambled Eggs...

originally, the mushrooms are canned mushrooms...

top up RM 1.50 for fresh button mushrooms, if you prefer fresh like we did... ^^

the scrambled eggs, button mushrooms and grilled tomato were nicely done...

chicken sausages and turkey bacon were rather ordinary...

and the pathetic looking bread has spoilt the whole thing... =/

Triplet Omelette  RM 12.90

it was the omelette with lots of ingredient in it...

was quite okay only it was not fluffy enough...

can't remember all the ingredients, there were chopped onions, tomatoes and mushrooms...

my girlfriend love it very much~

that's my girlfriend and with her ZoomDate taking the picture of mine...
we were there since the breakfast crowd then the crowd left and the lunch crowd started to come~
it was a great outing, with all the gossiping, sharing and laughing... ^^

i will definitely visit Departure Lounge again...
i've seen people ordered yummy-licious looking food...
of course i would like to try more of their menu...
this time, maybe i should consider visit them for late lunch~ XD
